So i had this awesome idea with the project catwalk thingy…. like most stuff those things always look awesome in my own mind…. like my humor… only exists in my mind muhahah…. slowly back off now..

Nice surprise

When i woke up this morning i decided that i would try and clean the house.
After 2 hours i finally started to clean my house, i’m not really a morning person, i hate waking up and i take my time to do it LMAO.
I also decided that i would only clean downstairs today cause to clean the whole house on 1 day is something my back probably couldn’t handle.
And i was right after cleaning downstairs my back was hurting like hell so i decided to retreat and take my place on the couch.
I started watching buffy again, about 2 hours later i got a craving for some hot chocolate with whipped cream hmmm.
So i posted the following on fb and twitter and my mother responded.

I thought she made a joke, cause my mom does that kind of thing more, that she says she’ll come but never does.
But 30 min later the doorbell rang, and when i opened my mom was there with Chamook!!
So that was a nice surprise i haven’t seen my mom all week cause i was sick at home, we usually see each other at work every day LOL.
Tijgertje was very happy that my mom came to visit us cause she just loves Chamook, so it made her day.

Why don’t they ever sit still???

The 1st thing we did was drink some hot chocolate with whipped cream lol, cause that was the reason she came after all.
She really took me by surprise cause i didn’t have any food ready i wanted to eat the leftovers from the chicken tandori i made yesterday and that wasn’t enough for 2 people, but she said that we should order some food.
OMG it’s been months since i’ve last ordered food in LMAO, when you live alone you don’t do that as easily that when you live with someone else.
So after more then 6 months i had shoarma again LMAO.

During the shoarma we watched the 1st half of NAC against Utrecht, but due to internet problems we couldn’t watch the 2nd half
I almost never have internet problems and tonight i did, we were both laughing about it.

When internet finally started working again the match between NAC and Utrecht was already finished but at least NAC won, so it was all good.
Not much later mom left again, so now i’m alone again *cries* LOL.
Oh well got another glass of red wine and some more buffy to watch

Yesterday after watched some soccer i tried to play a game on my notebook.
My notebook isn’t that fast so a lot of games won’t work. (and it doesn’t have a dvd drive, hence notebook instead of laptop)
But my notebook wasn’t really my biggest problem.
Yes yet again my cats wanted to join i think, or they just love my blanket too much.

Well as you can see sometimes it’s hard to have cats LMAO.
When i looked to my right Rohan was sitting on the table, he also wanted to join Isilya and Tijgertje,
but luckily for me there was no space for him.

After that i gave up on playing games since the cats simply wouldn’t let me, so i finished the rest of the season of Rome.
I can’t believe i stopped watching it for 3 times before cause it’s really a good serie, maybe my mind wasn’t ready for it yet.

Today the doorbell woke me up again, hmm what was it now?
It turned out that my snug rug was already delivered, which should take another two weeks to deliver.

It’s really a great thing i was struggling with my cow blanket so many times, not to mention my cats lol.
Unfortunately for me my cats like my snug rug too lol, a plus is that you “wear” it so i can keep it on when i walk so it keeps you warm all the time and i think it’s a bit better for my back too.
Still no progress at that point alas, i’m taking my pills and i’m a big deal of the day either on the couch or in bed, but sometimes i need to walk of course LOL.
I do hope it will go better soon.

Today i received my new phone, so yay got a new toy to play with lmao.

Yep that’s my new toy lol.
It’s a good phone very clear sound when you call someone.
Well other then that i haven’t done a thing then played with my phone, watched some Rome and talked to my love.
Not a good day for my back lmao oh well.

Today was going to be the day (no this is not the lyrics of some song i promise ) that i would finally be released of the nagging pain in my back.
I woke up the normal time for a monday so i could visit the doctor before work, get a painful injection and then i could finally get of that stupid couch.
WRONG
Well of course i went to see the doctor (a real one not the one with that nice little blue box).
I told him i had a nagging pain in my back (again) and he pushed on the right spot on my back immediately OUCH!!
Then i needed to sit down and he 1st pulled up my right leg, it was unpleasant but not very painful, then he grabbed my left leg and held it up and that was really painful.
What is it with doctors and always know where to push or whatever to cause you more pain???
Well conclusion i’ve got “lendeschot” i tried to fiend a good translation of it but it’s not a normal term LMAO.
Even wikipedia didn’t have it so i was shocked
Best translation would be lumbago but that’s only the pain in the lower back not the medical term. oh well it hurts like hell that i can tell you.
Then he says well nothing a weeks rest can’t cure and take your pills.
WTH???? I need to stay on this bloody couch for a whole week???
I was already happy that it was monday so i could get off the bloody thing and now i’ve to stay on it for this week???
Someone please shoot me *sigh* ok well better not do that.
So i called work told them the bad news and i went to the pharmacy to get the pills and then back home and back to that bloody red couch.
When i got home my cats we’re surprised to see me back.

Ugh so now what?? i spend 1 hour zapping the tv but there was nothing on, and i didn’t go to work so i didn’t have my Torchwood series back yet
Oh well i better get on with it, so i watched the final 3 episodes of Doctor Who, and cried like a little girl when David says: I don’t want to go.
After that my neighbour came by just to chat and she said that if i needed anything i could give her a ring, so if this thing isn’t better soon she’s going to help me.
When she left i started watching another serie a serie that i’ve tried to watch for several times but never got into.
The serie of Rome, weird thing is that now it does catches me, although i’ve always loved Italy and Rome now i get it.
Then i looked at the date…. december 6, i left Rome on November 6, god it’s been a whole month already since i got back.
And still my heart hurts like it was only yesterday.

Another couch day

This morning Rohan decided I had enough sleep so he woke me up like only he can.
Somehow he gets close to my ear and starts to miauw, I believe he says something like: Wake up human I’m hungry!!!!
So I got up and obeyed LMAO.
After that I tried to sit behind the pc, but after 30 min I gave in, it still wasn’t going better.
So today has been another couch day.
I tried to clean my house but I failed cause I couldn’t walk that well, I was happy I could do the laundry but that’s what got my back hurt in the 1st place.
But this time I didn’t load the basket till it was too full lol no this time I only carried half a basket and walked twice, hey I’m learning.
The rest of the day I finished watching Band of Brothers, it was a nice serie, with lots of blood and bombs just the way I like stuff LMAO.
I also watched 1st special from DW the next doctor, after blogging I’ll watch another one
Then I still got 3 left, but I think I’ll go for the alternate ending like Rens suggested LMAO.

The cats have not been very nice today, they all liked to jump on me and use me as scratch pole :s
And Rohan jumped on the closet which he knows he’s not allowed too, so I had to get up again to get him off the closet and when I almost was there he jumped off GRRRRR.
When I went back to the couch I had another fight waiting for me.

Isilya wanted the blanket this time

Well I won in the end, but I just had an argument with Isilya and she thinks I cheated… hmmm, giving her food to get her of the couch isn’t cheating right?? LMAO
Oh great I’m really losing my mind I’m talking to my cats now and I’m losing arguments, this is bad.
Well on the bright side Juve just won so yay that’s improves my mood a bit after these 2 days of nothing else then just staying put on the couch.
I don’t think I was ever happy that it will be Monday tomorrow, I do hope the doctor can fix me.

Saterday couch-day

This was supposed to be a day that I would wake-up by myself but the world decided otherwise. It was 10 am when my doorbell rang. I wondered who it would be cause it didn’t have plans for someone visiting me.
When I opened the door there was this poor mailman standing in the cold and he had a package for me.
But what could it be, not my new phone cause I haven’t got an email about that nor my season 5 from Doctor Who same no email.
It took me sometime to open the package, it was closed very well, when I opened it I was surprised.
Simterklaas has send me something nice!!! So I was a good girl after all this year LMAO yeah right

So thank you Simterklaas!!! I’ll enjoy every bite of it
After that I stayed awake cause if I would go back to sleep I would sleep away the whole day, that’s nice sometimes but I was wide awake.
I sat behind my pc and when I tried to get up for coffee I noticed that my back was worse then ever.
I could hardly walk!!! Oh great not again *sigh* this mean another trip to the doctor (the wrong doctor I might add ).
But this will have to wait till Monday cause it’s the weekend and he doesn’t have visiting hours.
So I packed a bunch of stuff and moved to the couch.
Also I got my nice and comfy cow blanket out of the closet, but I had to fight my own cats for it, they love my blanket as much as I do.

After some time I retrieved my blanket and I was ready to watch one of my favorite Doctors.
Doctor Who? Exactly!!! LMAO ok that was too easy I know.
I put the dvd in my dvd-player and started watching, at the end of the episode I came to the conclusion that I’ve inserted the wrong dvd LMAO.
Ugh so I had to get up again and change the dvd, after that I could finally relax and watch the right order of dvd’s.
So I watched the 4th season, I still have the specials but I think I’ll leave them for tomorrow.
I do hope my mom brings back my Torchwood series on Monday cause I’ll go in serious DW withdrawl if she doesn’t cause who knows when season 5 will be delivered and Christmas is still far away.
When the dvd was done I tried to get it out, but alas I had to face my own Dalek 1st to get to the dvd-player.

He doesn’t look too happy that DW has ended for today LMAO.
Right now I’m still on the couch and Rohan (read Dalek LMAO) is trying to help me write my blog.
He thinks his spelling is better then the spelling used in word, and I might believe he’s right sometimes.
I do notice that my back is less painful now, I can get up a bit easier, but when I sit down for a while I notice the pain is back, oh well more red wine please LMAO.

Just started watching the 1st episode of Band of Brothers, it’s nice with a couple familiar faces.
Hope Amazon will deliver my package soon lol I miss the doctor already (although i miss someone else a hell lot more then the doctor!!!)

Yawn!

This morning i had my own personal alarm clock again *sigh* Rohan woke me up again, i don’t know how late (or early) it was because i didn’t want to look at the clock.
So i’ve been tired all day long, Rohan doesn’t always wake me but i’m starting to feel like he’s been doing it more often these days.
I had a lot of fun at work today, we didn’t have this much fun for a long time.
Tomorrow we are finally going to decorate our room in Christmas style i can’t wait, i always love to do that ^^
Well nothing really special happened today, we did groceries and stuff like that, but exciting things rarely happen when you’re tired
There is soccer again tonight w00t, Juve againt Bayer, i hope it will be a great match, so i hope i can blog tomorrow cause soccer isn’t that good for my heart LOL.

Valanya was too scared to go on the picture alone with Pikachu so Rohan decided to be nice and sit in the picture as well GRRRR LOL.
But today it’s about Valanya, Rohan has to wait for his “minute of fame”.
Valaya was born on July 1st 2003 and she came to us around January 2004, she also had a different name when we got her, they’ve called her Rakker because they believed she was a he So we needed a new name for her.
Valanya means Saturday in the language of the Elves from Lord of the Rings, we got her on a Sunday but we didn’t like the name for sunday lol.
She is scared pretty easily, she didn’t get a good start with her previous owner and she doesn’t like men at all.
She loves to cuddle (on her terms of course) and when it’s cold outside she likes to sleep on the central heating system in the living room.
Sometimes she’s like a dog, she loves to retrieve stuff, throw away stuff and she’ll bring it back to you LOL.
