Blog: December 2… shopping!

So yeah i kinda had some sort of a title for today but don’t want to stop my ingenious titeling (my word i owns its!) now

TGIF!!! Let the weekend start, usually Friday is the best day of the week to work, cause almost everyone is free on that day…. key word is usually cause lately it seems like Friday got a hell lot busier!!!
More phone calls more things to do, what happened to going into the weekend quietly and relaxed? I got no clue but it’s not like that anymore.
Let’s hope next week will be a normal Friday again, cause working overtime on a Friday…. uhm isn’t there a law against that? I know i must’ve read it somewhere giggles.
Although it had a nice surprise it was again late when i stepped out of the office, and i had my mind set on finding myself a new game for…. well just to be nice to myself, cause hey if i don’t spoil myself no one else will do it…

Ok me and shopping…. bad bad bad…. trying to get out of the city was already a big problem too, uhm my theory about almost everyone being free on Friday totally FAILED!!! I’ve never seen it that busy before… maybe it’s because the dutch Santa ( commonly known as Sinterklaas) is in town?
But then again in the shopping mall it was not as busy as i thought it would be… but that didn’t cut back my frustration…..

I honestly don’t know how women do it…. SERIOUSLY!!!! I don’t understand the “fun” that is called shopping, it’s a big waste of time, with lot’s of sheep all going the same way and ……. those damn annoying kids running and screaming around O_o.
After spending 2 hours in the mall I still haven’t found the game i wanted, so my good mood was gone completely… giggles so from now on i’ll do my shopping online saves the world a badly mooded Mogs too

Giggles burn it all to the ground i’d say …. then i turned on my pc and went online…. and saw the release date of the game which i thought was december 1st was for America and not Europe…… *slaps herself*
Oh well i ordered it from England now so let’s see…. O_o seriously Mogs you live in Europe….
Speaking of Europe; tonight was the drawing for the Euro 2012…. MUAHAHHAHAH…. Is it wrong that i like it that the Netherlands is in Group B aka the Group of Death???? LOL

Ok i want them to win at least 1 game against Germany!!!! Sorry german peeps it’s not personal.. i just can’t stand your soccer team LMAO…. damn i hate Portugal too….. i wonder …. *flashback music starting* Remembers a game… a game against Portugal … and it had lot’s of shiny cards like yellow and red
OMG seriously that was bad!!!! So for the Dutch’s sake please don’t be as stupid as last time and play their game too…. OI!!!!

Last time the Netherlands played against Portugal on an end tournament was in 2006!!!! 2006!!!!! The magic number!!!! Italy became champions that year!!!

Couch strikes back

This morning when i got up i had a bit of pain in my back, but it wasn’t unbearable.
Had to defrost the car 1st, and it was really bad, even the inside of my car was frozen
It was so cold in the car that even my mp3 player didn’t want to work, cause the cd was frozen.
When i finally got to work my back was hurting like hell already.
I tried to stay as long as i could but after 4 hours my back was hurting so bad that i almost wasn’t able to sit or walk.
So i told my boss my back was acting up again and i went home.
The drive home was almost like hell, my back hurt so much it wasn’t fun to drive at all.
When i got home i got on the couch and the pain stayed.
I tried phoning the doctor but he was busy a long time, after 15 times i finally got through.
I told him that my back was still hurting and he said he wanted to see me first thing tomorrow.
So tomorrow i’m going back to the doctor again, this time i hope he can really fix it.
Cause the pain is still here and it hasn’t improved at all
Normally the pain will go away when i’m on the couch but it doesn’t go away now.
So fingers crossed and hope that the doctor can fix me tomorrow, cause the pain is driving me crazy.

No couch today!

Today i’ve stayed of the couch, although my back is hurting a bit, it was nice to sit behind the pc again instead of being on the couch.
I didn’t do much today, but i guess that’s what sunday’s are for
I did clean upstairs so i’m proud of myself lol, not that upstairs is a lot of work, but still it needed to be done.
After that i watched a movie called Law abiding citizen, and it was an amazing movie.
Then had some supper and waited for Juve to start.
The game has just ended and Juve won in the last minute of the game, so i’m very happy right now ^^
Tomorrow i’m going back to work, i wonder how far behind they are since the whole department was either sick or on holiday this last week LOL.

It’s Friday i’m in love

Well nothing like using a song for your tittle when you’re clueless about the tittle you want to use.
Ugh i’m so bad with tittles i can never come up with a good one.
And blogging for 10 days in a row is really a personal best!!! *gives out party hats*
I kind of like it too, honestly don’t think the worlds like it, but hey who reads this anyway LMAO.
Well today my boss called and asked how i was doing.
I hate to be the bringer of bad news lol so i told him i was doing better, well it’s true in a way, the pain is a little less,
but yet it’s still there and sitting is not really my fav thing to do now.
I’ll have to wait and see how it will go on monday, i’ll try to get back to work and we’ll see if my back will hold it.
After the call i was still tired so i went back to sleep LOL.
3 Hours later Rohan decided it was time to wake up again cause he was hungry.
So i obeyed LMAO.
After some coffee i went across the street to get some groceries.

It was nice to get of the couch for a little while, but it was still cold outside, luckily no snow though.
When i got back home i was almost ready to get on the couch with a nice cup of cappuccino, when the doorbell rang.

Darn it, don’t get cold now!!!

It was my neighbour, she wanted me to create something for her.
So we 1st drank something cause i didn’t want to get my lovely cappuccino get cold lol haven’t had a decent cappuccino in so long, i didn’t either had one when i went to Italy lmao.
Well i created something on the pc for my neighbour and she was happy again, but i noticed after 30 min behind the pc, my back still wasn’t approving.
Back to the couch it was then.

When i was back on the couch i decided to give my cats some treats they haven’t had them in a very long time.
They were all very greedy lol they knew right away what it was, Rohan didn’t want to wait long before he got his so he bit me LMAO.
After that i started watching Buffy again, i’m on the 3rd season now lol darn it no more spike for a long time LMAO.

Well that was my day so far, not really exciting i know LMAO, just finished my hot chocolate yummie, maybe i’ll have another one later tonight, after i finish my red wine 1st LOL.

Sometimes humans are stupid

Last night it was soccer again yay for that lol, but not so yay cause Juve is out of the european cup :’(
The game wasn’t that exciting and the field was so white cause of the snow it made me shiver.
This morning i woke up and the world was white again, ugh i really hate snow.
So i left home a bit earlier cause of it.
And i was shocked that some people still drove like there wasn’t no snow, driving way to fast or doing things a sane person in this weather would never do.
I don’t mind them as long as they only kill themselves, but mostly they walk away clean and someone else is hurt.
Why don’t people adjust??? Leave home a bit earlier, well some do that, but most of them still think it’s some sort of video game or something, they drive like they can’t get hurt anyway and if they have an accident, they’ll start over again with the car as good as new

thankfully i got to work safely, not thanks to all those idiots
We had a lot of fun at work today, we laughed a lot, the pressure was high again, cause the system didn’t work for 2 days and the strike of the mailmen didn’t help either.
So it was 17.30 when i finally stepped out of the office, and it had snowed all day again, so my car looked like this:

So i could start all over again cleaning the snow *sigh*
The roads weren’t that good either and it was idiots all around again Thankfully it wasn’t as busy as this morning, cause people do leave work earlier to get home in time.
Once you get to the highway the road is better but before that the roads can be dangerous.
So 45 min later i was finally home again.

Not many people drive through my street so the snow stays longer there.
Oh well let’s hope this weather will go away fast cause i’ve had enough of it LMAO.

So now what?

Well it’s been a long long time since i’ve posted a normal blog, well uhm yeah twitter is the new blog i think, but still 140 characters isn’t that much
So what happened in the meantime uhm…. well we have 6 cats now LOL, Rohan has joined our family, unfortunately we had to let our rabbit Del Piero go in April of this year, he was 7 years old but it was still difficult.
I’m still working in the same hospital and still on the same place, holy crap! That’s the longest time i’ve worked on the same place ever, it’s a new record :O
But a lot has changed there, a new man in charge and mostly these people don’t know nothing about the work you do and try to make your life as difficult as possible just so they won’t look stupid.
Sometimes i wonder if you can have a job that’s fun? I do hope so, but at the moment i can’t seem to find it, oh well it’ll work out someday…. i think …. i hope.

So Mogway what’s up with the blogging now? 1st you don’t write for more then a year and then you start again…. Well a couple of friends have started with December Bloggers , the purpose is that we blog as much post in the month December.
I thought it was funny to see if i can blog a whole month long (oh well 4 days have already passed but still ) and to write as much nonsense as i can LOL, i guess it won’t be that spectacular but who cares

W00t we have our Christmas tree already ^^ i’ve been nagging for about 1 week already to get the tree down and voila here it is, been listening to Christmas songs too for some time now…. i’ll be alright LOL

Had to go to the garage today with my car (aka Lucifer), he thought he was a Formula 1 car, the exhaustion pipe almost made a really bad sound, so it was broken
Damn what a month to choose to break down…. let’s hope it won’t be that much.
Fortunately we aren’t booked for Christmas this year, we’re going to have a quiet Christmas at home w00t finally, for the 1st time in 7 years we’re staying home.

Well i wonder how long i can keep this up lol, watching back on the history of this blog my blogging isn’t really active LOL…. See you guys tomorrow?????

Altador Cup

Finally after waiting so many months the Altador Cup on Neopets has started again.
It started last year as a parody on the WC soccer, but now it seems to be a tradition in Neopia.
Unfortunately i couldn’t play much last year, because i’m a rather big soccer fan (Italy world champion!!!! One year later and i’m still having fun because of that )

This year they’ve really changed the Altador Cup, we have a new team (Shenkuu, well they needed to at it because we discovered it with last years plot) and there are also new balls (well yooyu’s actually )
But now you can really “feel” the difference between the yooyu’s, if you could win a match with 12-0 last year, you’re going to be smashed this year, they really made it more difficult, and the difference between the yooyu’s is also working.
The fun thing is that almost everyone on Neopets is playing the AC (short for Altador Cup )and all the players are developing a carpal tunnel syndrome.
I think i got mine last year of playing to much Yooyuball
Yooyuball is really great because it’s almost like a soccer game, well except for the offside (this is very easy for the children and women who don’t know anything about soccer ) and they don’t have corners or throw ins, no the yooyu is in the game all time.
The purpose of the game? Well score more then you opponent, makes sense………………….
Although the game is rather simple it’s still addictive and because a lot of teams playing who Neopia is divided.
Just like last year, i’m playing for Altador, why…. well maybe it’s because of the similarity of the natives with the old greek – roman civilization, so a nickname for Altador is TOGA

So if you happen to have an account on Neopets and you’re not playing support Altador you’re also invited to join the TOGA guild

Oh yeah more troubles at work today, it was really a mess. A colleague has heard that she needs to start her new job this Monday
So that’s really bad for me and someone else because now we have to practically run the department and she only works 2 days so that means that i’m alone 3 days, and then i’ve got to run the show, but i’ve only been working there since January
Oh well it will all turn out just fine when everyone is at home with a burnout

Always look on the bright side of……. work?

Finally after many weeks we would get an answer about who will be fired from their job, well at least that’s what they told us.

Here’s a little background info. I work in a Hospital in the Netherlands, and like most companies these days (yes the hospital is sort of a company believe me) the hospital has financial problems. Nobody knows why this has happened (well unnecessary moving of departments and unnecessary rebuilds of departments, or a operation centre that was really expensive and where they have only 1 operation a week….. must i continue?).
Well let’s just say the Ceo finally found out that the hospital has a lot of debts, and how do they solve it?
They want to save money on materials and personnel.
In December 2006 a reorganisation was held, they looked at the departments if they could do the same work with less people.
And so a number of people was considered unneeded, me included.
But like most unneeded employees i still work at the hospital.
Somewhere in April they told the personnel that the hospital was in serious trouble and that at least 255 jobs would disappear. The problem is that most jobs are done by more people so the number of people that actually have to leave will be higher then 255.

So now the latest developments, the unions don’t agree with forced dismissals, and the works council doesn’t trust the situation anymore, so nobody knows what’s going on. But today would make a difference.
So the whole department had to go to the chapel (they must have chosen that location so we would curse, or that’s what they believe )
It’s quite a walk to the chapel from out department, so we left early and went into the elevator…………

WRONG

That moment my worst fear became reality, we were stuck in the elevator, 13 people
We should have gone up but we went down instead, and then the lift didn’t go up anymore and the doors would open either.
Then someone saw a very little sign that only 6 people were allowed in the elevator
It was such a small sign, make it bigger! But we were still trapped.
A colleague thought to be funny and started jumping :0
It’s always been my fear to get stuck in an elevator and being claustrophobic doesnt help either.
Luckily for us someone from technical service was nearby, so we were stuck for about 5 minutes or so, but it felt much much longer.

Finally we got out, but we still needed to go up, so most people took the stairs
In the chapel we got an envelope with a paper inside with the amount of jobs that would have to disappear.
I was already out, but from my old department people still have to leave.
Also my old chef has to leave, almost every chef has to leave.

Conclusion: we still don’t know anything, but for now the forced dismissals are canceled due to the unions.
But everyone is encouraged to seek another job.
Well i hope i’ll have another job soon, preferably one where i don’t need to use elevators

Oh yeah another fun thing: Today is the birthday of DMS2C, we’re 1 year old LOL pretty weird though that the website is open for 1 year now.

Now the bad news : 2 Weeks ago the director of the hospital told us that 255 jobs must be deleted to ensure the financial health of the hospital. 255 Jobs usually means more then 255 people because a lot of people work parttime, but we still don’t know who’s going to lose his/her job and who doesn’t. I’m at another division right now but i already now i can’t stay there either, sjies ghehe, all they keep doing with me is put me wherever i’m needed and then kick me out again.
Well i got a job interview this Wednesday so i’m hoping that if i get the job i’ll stay there for more then 1 year LOL.

Also i’ve got a really nasty pain in my back, last Friday i wanted to get my coffee mug and then my back just started to hurt.
To make a long story short, i’ve got new pills (yeah i just love pills ) and i’m not allowed to do anything. LOL me and just sitting and do nothing? That’s going to be hard, well at least i’ve got a week of YEAH.

Christmas and other stuff

WOW it’s been a while since my last post, not that i find that weird cause i’ve been at work until 21:30 today, yeah for me, i must be insane or something. Especially after the last couple of weeks i must be insane to work late again, i’ll explain it.
Many company’s here in the Netherlands have financial problems and the hospital is no exception to it. Because of that i was forced to leave the hospital about 1,5 years ago, but then due to some weird rules and stuff i got hired back and i got a contract again. But now they have something new, we needed to fill in an interest form of what functions we would like. Director sign me up LOL no seriously, i didn’t have any idea what to fill in cause i haven’t worked on that division for 1,5 years, and the functions have changed it that time, that’s all i know
So last Wednesday i had a meeting about my 1st function interest, and to make it worse with someone i don’t know. This man recently became my boss apparently. So i went there and to my big surprise he told me he didn’t need me cause he already had to much personnel. DUH i already know that for about 1,5 years now ugh. So i told him i would rather stay in the division i’m currently at, he understood that, but he didn’t want to pay for me anymore, i understand that, why should a division pay my salary when i don’t work for them. But he told me that he was going to try and sort it all out. Ok hej that’s fine by me, if i can stay in the division i’m currently at i’ll be happy cause i have been working there for about hmmm oh yeah 1,5 years now
This Saturday i got a new letter that invites me for a new interview for my 2nd function interest (the 2nd function is way higher then my original function). I really didn’t know what to think of that letter, i really thought why should i go? They’re trying to place me at my current division for good…. So i went this morning for that other interview and boy did that turn out completely wrong, so it resulted by this man saying (again he doesn’t know me at all): i wasn’t motivated and that i wasn’t a reliable candidate for this job (the 2nd function NO DUH) and that i should probably forget the fact that i can stay at my current division. WTF i’m not motivated?????? I’ve stayed 5 hours longer then i’m supposed to today and i’m not motivated????? Really motivating such conversations ugh. They’re all a bunch of retards, someone who works longer in the hospital get a lower function then someone who just started working there when they both have the same papers, that doesn’t seem right to me now. So actually i’m right back where i started 1,5 years ago, i don’t have a clue where i stand. In fact every day someone can come up to me and tell me to pack my stuff cause i don’t longer work at this division anymore, hmmmmmmmm really motivating…….if you ask me and of course the don’t ugh. Well the biggest problem is who’s going to pay my salary, the division i’m at now can’t really do without me but they can’t pay me either cause they don’t belong to the hospital, really complicated again, so because all of that i’m unsure of everything again Long live the health care huh. This stuff is also very good for your health

So now let’s talk about something i do like to talk about, yes it’s soccer *evil laughter* sry but on this great day i just had to talk about this wonderful game . It’s surprising to me that we are still allowed to play soccer here in the Netherlands, cause we got weird supporters (you probably have heard about the Feyenoord supporters in Nancy, can we actually call those people supporters???) or the weird thing the dutch soccer players say nowadays. Oh yeah and we’ve got a Coach of the national team vs everybody else, and this war ain’t over yet, so this loser of a coach had some luck with getting to a tournament and now………Where is Ruud van Nistelrooy???? He’s been playing really well at Real Madrid at the moment, yesterday he scored an important goal that led Real to the victory. NO don’t get me started about that UNDESERVED red card for Cannavaro, cause if you believe that his 2nd yellow card was right then you might as well get your lessons from our dutch coach, who has absolutely no idea what he’s doing.
Speaking about Cannavaro *evil laughter* he’s FIFA WORLD PLAYER 2006 *again evil laughter* , i’m not going to say anything about it but i’ll quote something from a dutch soccer magazine called VI

LOL it’s something i’ve could have written myself *again evil laughter*, really this is so great, not only because Cannavaro won the prize, but the fact that defenders are finally getting recognition for what they’re doing. And the fact that a defender wins all the important soccer prizes this year. I really can’t wait to hear / read the reactions of french coach Domenech and Cruijff

Well enough about soccer…..really???? Yep for now i even build in a nice jump section for you soccer haters lol So anyway Christmas is knocking at our doors again, ugh now comes the time when your whole family wants you to spend Christmas with them, yeah sure i’ll divide myself in 20 pieces or something And of course the big question, what do you get your family for Christmas??? I don’t even know what to ask… so why should others know it then Well if you have to believe the Dutch trends then Christmas is going to be really expensive. We have a sorta dutch version of Santa Claus and he gives gifts on December 5, but most kids got a brand new Xbox 360 for December 5. Is it just me again that i find this totally ridiculous that you give your kids such an expensive present on a day like that??? Yeah it’s just probably me………. SJIES look at this blog it turned out to be quite long, i don’t usually make blogs this long, only when they’re about a new expansion pack of the Sims 2 hmmmmmmmmmm gheheh, well last but not least:
